What do you think you'd write a story about?

I think you should absolutely write a story! Doesn't have to be crazy to be great :)

I'm assuming that intercourse is what is off the table currently and I'm wondering how you guys feel about other options. Is there terrible pain? Tiredness? Bleeding? Discharge? The kind of illness will affect any suggestions but there are lots of ways to give and have orgasms. Lie next to each other and use toys? A strong, wand vibrator works great on men and women. Talk dirty to each other while masturbating? Snuggle and add extra stimulation? Outercourse? Drying humping? Penis between thighs, breasts, etc. Manual stimulation for both?

Hmm. An interesting perspective. I’ve always seen them the way I see any helpful tool. A spatula in the kitchen. A wrench in the garage. A vibrator in the bedroom. I see the goal of sex generally as connection through mutual pleasure. More pleasure has never reduced my own sense of connection nor respect.

That’s kind of a bummer. Has he said why he’s not okay with them?

To be fair, it was not told directly to me. My mother-in-law and sisters-in-law said this to my wife.

I have been told by at least one previous contributor that a new story is in the works. So, something should be here soon.

Don't have to be a great writer to share a story. You're probably a better writer than you're giving yourself credit for anyway. I'd encourage you to just start writing and see where it goes. You could always find a trusted person to give you feedback, if you're worried it could be better. Hopefully we'll get to see your stories sooner than later :)

Hey! Some of the latest stories submitted are going to eventually be released but behind either a sign up requirement or small paywall. They are mostly fantasy-based stories the themes of which are likely to feel uncomfortable for many casual users of the website. Hopefully we'll get some new stories pretty soon and I'm glad you've enjoyed the stories up so far! :)

Also, this is as good a place as any to mention this: stories have and continue to be submitted here that reflect these sorts of fantasies- the ones that are clearly in violation of Latter-day Saint standards, were they acted on. For the reasons mentioned above, especially the shame reduction component, we intend to eventually publish them, but likely behind a paywall. It would be a tiny amount of money for permanent access and the only purpose of it would be to ensure those reading those more controversial stories are doing it with full knowledge of their purpose on this website.

Personally, I think it's especially important to consult with a spouse and follow the Spirit on all questions such as this, since the spirit of any law, including the Law of Chastity, can only be understood in context. I always understood Church standards to have the strengthening of individuals and families as their guiding principle. As Dr. Finlayson-Fife might ask, "Does it add goodness to your relationship?" Obviously, nudity in videos is not always inherently bad, since it is shown to some degree in normal massage videos and medical training videos. The question most would probably pose is whether or not the intention of watching is to inspire arousal or not. I would ask not just whether arousal is a factor motivating the viewing but whether or not any arousal that does come from it will be used to bless your marriage.
